This cemetery has long been abandoned and is now overgrown with sage brush. Their is only one pipe cross left visible along with a partial concrete cross standing. Strips of wood are scattered around inside the fenced area estimating about a dozen early pioneers buried here known but to God. Named after the Muniz family who lived in the area a hundred plus years ago. Located within the boundaries of the Navajo Dam State Park, there is no road to the cemetery. One would have to hike a few hundred yards north of the highway to get there.
